Meet Jose Ramos: Interview with an Electrical Expert

When/how did you start working with The ODG?

Jose: I met Chris O’Dell and some of his team on a job that I worked on previously. A client of mine sold their house and the new owners contracted The O’Dell Group they needed help with Lutron programming at that specific job. That was around March 2022.

In your own words, what does iElectriCo help clients accomplish ? What tasks do you perform day-to-day?

Jose: At iElectriCo we help clients with all their electrical needs and wants. From light installations to service calls when something isn’t working, to smart home systems that simplify clients use of their technology in their homes. I personally lead a team of 4 technicians and have them working on miscellaneous jobs, doing all sorts of things to run the iElectrico business. Client interaction and sales, etc… a multitude of hats worn to get the job done.

What is your favorite part about your job?

Jose: Favorite part of my job is going from start to finish and experiencing the joy with clients at their projects completion. Serving clients and accomplishing all their needs. And building relationships with clients. 

What hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?

Jose: I'm on fire for God, I pastor and lead a church. I love mountain biking, snowboarding, spending time with my family, and playing soccer with my kids. 

What work experience have you gained prior to joining the O'Dell Group team?

Jose: 21 years in the Electrical and Audio/ Video/ Network/ Lighting/ Technology space.

Jose: Lighting controls, smart home technology installations, Generators. Whole home installations, Commercial space installations, and more.
